This was my last wedding of the 2023 season, and it was one for the books! Ian and Maci had THE most gorgeous wedding day at Grangeville Oaks. This was my first time shooting at this venue, and it was abolstuely incredible – full of gorgeous oak trees, surrounded by acres and acres of vineyards, and rustic details that made my heart go pitter patter.

This wedding was such a special one, one I have been looking forward to for over a year! Partly because I have known William and his family for years…I took William’s 8th grad graduation pics! And also because, William and Alexa have loved eachother for YEARS! They have known eachother since eighth grade, dated through college, graduate programs, moves, careers, and long distance. That is, until years later, while attending WSU together, and Cole would confess his feelings on their late night walks back to campus. I first met Avery for coffee at the Little Garden Cafe down the road. I instantly felt like we had been friends for years, as we chatted for hours about traveling and life. Her smile grew as she talked about Joseph, when they first me, and when she would see him next. Joseph was stationed in Kansas, and they’d be long distance until their wedding later that year.
