This was my last wedding of the 2023 season, and it was one for the books! Ian and Maci had THE most gorgeous wedding day at Grangeville Oaks. This was my first time shooting at this venue, and it was abolstuely incredible – full of gorgeous oak trees, surrounded by acres and acres of vineyards, and rustic details that made my heart go pitter patter.

This wedding was such a special one, one I have been looking forward to for over a year! Partly because I have known William and his family for years…I took William’s 8th grad graduation pics! And also because, William and Alexa have loved eachother for YEARS! They have known eachother since eighth grade, dated through college, graduate programs, moves, careers, and long distance. Through it all, there love for each other remained tried-and-true.

You might remember Cole & Lizzy from their engagement session, more especially their love story. One that goes back to their high school days, where Cole had a crush on Lizzy, and Lizzy had no idea. That is, until years later, while attending WSU together, and Cole would confess his feelings on their late night walks back to campus. He eventually won her heart, and together, they planned the most amazing wedding day in Sandpoint.

I had been looking forward to this day since the very first time I met Peter and Kathryn. They are two of the kindest, most genuine souls. Not only that, but when Kathryn mentioned they’d be incorporating some of her Greek family tradition as well as some of Peter’s Jewish family traditions into their wedding day, I was ecstatic!

Tucked in the blue expanse of Lake Coeur d’Alene, a cabin sits perched on the calm waters of Rockford Bay. It was the perfect location for them to say I Do amongst their closest family members. A long way from their home in Utah, but an idyllic place for a weekend away.

Kenny and Melissa’s wedding was my final wedding of the 2022 season, and it was one for the books! They married at the beautiful St. Aloysius church on the Gonzaga campus, were Kenny attended school and came to meet Melissa by way of his roommate (a.k.a. Melissa’s brother!). The whole day truly felt like a giant celebration for their families who got to witness their love

Of all the profiles, she stood out. He swiped right, she did too – it was a match! They agreed to meet in-person along the river in town. They walked and talked for hours, and what started simply as a first date, turned into the beginning of their forever together.

I first met Avery for coffee at the Little Garden Cafe down the road. I instantly felt like we had been friends for years, as we chatted for hours about traveling and life. Her smile grew as she talked about Joseph, when they first me, and when she would see him next. Joseph was stationed in Kansas, and they’d be long distance until their wedding later that year.

The skies were slightly overcast as music billowed from the shiny airstream parked out front. As I came to say hello, I could see Katie and her bridesmaids dancing and singing inside, and I knew immediately it was going to be a fun day! And it was! From the minute I arrived to the last hug goodbye, this day was a DREAM!

I don’t even know how to begin about this amazing day! From my first time chatting with Justin and Valerie, I knew I wanted to work with them. They are two of THE kindest, most genuine people. Not only that, they are ADORABLE together! Their love has this magnetic putt that draws you in, and makes you want to stick around.
