Nate and Katie first met on Bumble. They messaged back and forth, but Katie misread things and thought he was just visiting family in town for the weekend and decided to let him go. She knew she wanted something more. But still, Nate lingered in her mind…

With no promising prospects, she decided to delete the app, and then noticed Nate’s profile again that said he was still in town. Turns out, Nate lived in Spokane too! They agreed to meet at the Centennial Trail, where they spent their first date walking and talking, which morphed into take-out from the Elk, which turned into hours of chatting and laughing into the wee hours of the morning and what would turn out to be, the beginning of their forever together.

Thirteen months later, Nate asked Katie to be his wife. Together, they’re a planning a wedding at Kalispel Golf and Country Club next June! I was honored to document their engagement session, by the Centennial Trail, where it all began! Here are a few of my favorites from their session…
