When I was little, my family used to go camping in Pismo Beach frequently. So while Allan was in California with me this past month, we snuck away for a few days to to that same tiny coastal town that holds so many special memories from growing up. Campfires. Pancho’s Surf Shop. Old West Cinnamon Rolls. Splash Cafe. And although our Spokane wintered skin lasted only about a hour at the beach till we had to retreat (lol!!), the weekend felt extra sweet getting to share this place with Allan.  
 
To add to the sweetness, we had some visitors while we were there!!! You might remember Adam and Sammie from their beautiful wedding a few years ago. And now (!!!), these two are expecting their FIRST baby – a baby BOY!!! I’m pretty sure I scared Allan with all my screaming and excitement the day Sammie shared the news with me over the phone, so you can imagine the sheer joy I felt when they came to the coast for the day and had me capture this special time in their lives!  
 
Adore these two so much, and am just beyond excited as they get ready to become parents to their sweet baby boy! Enjoy a few of my favorites from my time with Adam and Sammie (and Hector +Mia) in Pismo Beach!

I just need to take a moment and brag a bit cause Adam was smack in the middle of his busy work season and took the afternoon to come ALL the way to the coast for pictures and then drive back that night so he could get up at 4 AM the next morning for work. You guys. All the applause for this dad-to-be!!!!
