I first met Shayla last summer while shooting a wedding in Washington. Shayla is a photographer in the Pasco area and I was (thankfully) referred her way while I was looking for a second shooter to help with the wedding I was going to be shooting there. Yet another reason I love photography so much – Its beautiful way of connecting people from all over! 
 
So very grateful for my introduction to Shayla. I loved my time getting to shoot with her and learn about her photography business! She truly loves what she does so it was a blast getting to chat about all things photography with her! She is incredibly talented, and so wonderful and down-to-earth. 
 
Following our shoot together, Shayla mentioned she wanted some updated portraits of her and her husband, Steven. Since I travel back and forth to Washington frequently, I told Shayla I would let her know the next time I was up so we could meet up! As we coordinated our schedules over the next few months, Shayla found out she and Stephen were EXPECTING their first baby together! Ahhhhh – so exciting!  
 
So instead of updating portraits of her and Stephen, we met up and documented portraits of this soon-to-be-family-of-three!

Steven and Shayla are expecting a sweet baby girl in April and they are already absolutely over the moon about her. I mean, could these little shoes be any CUTER?!?
