It’s officially October – woo hoo! Bring on the cooler weather, hot drinks all day, comfy sweaters and scarves (yessssss please!), and Homeland Season 5!!! I thought I could sneak that last one in since Homeland is ‘seasonal’! Most especially though, fall means family portrait time!!!
Today, I wanted to share portraits from my session with the gorgeous Bylsma family with you! I loved this shoot for SO many reasons. Not only was this group a blast to work with, they totally rocked coordinating outfits doing so, which is no easy feat with a group of 22!!! Amen amen! And the LOCATION!!! Oh my goodness, love!!! I had never been or shot at Knights Ferry before and it was such a neat setting, full of history and nestled beautifully along the Stanislaus River. I already can’t wait to shoot here again!
Mostly, I loved seeing this family together. Willie and Jolene celebrated 45 years of marriage this past year and this is their family. Their sons and daughters, son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws, grandkids and grandbabies. How amazing to think this group started forty-five years ago with their love story…
