The first time I met Rachel and Jordan was for her family’s portraits! They weren’t yet engaged, and Jordan came along to the shoot because he was in town visiting Rachel. After being around them for just the afternoon, I knew it was only a matter of time. He was completely smitten with her, and he made her smile from ear to ear.
A few months later, I received an email from Rachel that she was engaged!!! And I was BEYOND excited for the opportunity to document their beautiful love and wedding!!! These two, along with their families, planned the most amazing day!!! From Rachel’s jaw-dropping wedding gown and the gold leafed bouquets to the groom and his guys all decked out in black and white tuxedos…it was so GORGEOUS!!
But beyond all the glitter of the day, the thing that stood out to me was the love on this day. Jordan and Rachel so clearly love each other, and their family and friends. It felt so special to be part of this day, and see them commit their lives to each other. By far, my most favorite part of their day was during the ceremony when they washed each other’s feet. What an amazing example and symbol of serving one another in marriage these two share!!!
A big thank you to Diane Angel and my sweet husband for helping to capture this day! Enjoy some of my favorites from Jordan and Rachel’s beautiful wedding!
