Happy Monday friends!!! I don’t know about you, but April feels like it is just flying by! This time of year always seems to get busy busy for everyone, even the bees with all the blooming flowers! I’m finding myself getting caught up in the hustle and the thing is, I want more than anything, to soak it in…

Like seeing my two-year-old nephew attempting to blow out his birthday candles, sharing dinner + stories with friends around a table, hiking a new trail and seeing all the wildflowers around, celebrating a new year of life for a friend over dessert and cappuccino…those are the things, the big things that matter to me. The things I want to be there for. A part of. So today I’m pressing pause on the hustle and go on being present.

This particular shoot is such a beautiful reminder of these things to me! We met in LeGrand, where Carson’s grandparents owned an almond orchard. And I don’t know what made my heart most happy, the fact we got to incorporate a piece of her family’s land into the shoot, the beautiful almond blossoms themselves, or the fact that her grandparents came to be a part this day with her. LOVED it all! And am so excited to share a few of my favorites from my session with Carson in the orchard blossoms!
Beautiful, magical almond blossoms!
One of my faves!
You are gorgeous, Carson!
Carson, many congratulations to you on your upcoming graduation from Golden Valley…wishing you all the best as you head to college in the fall!
