Meet Kaylin. Kaylin and I don’t live near each other, but we DO share a brother. Yes, you read right! But before I thoroughly confuse you or have you questioning me being one of four sisters, let me explain myself here. Last year, my baby sister, Gina, married Dustin, Kaylin’s brother. So now, Kaylin’s brother is my now brother-in-law!
It’s been SO fun getting to know my sister’s new family over the past few years, and I couldn’t have been more excited when Kaylin asked me to take her senior portraits! Since Kaylin lives in San Diego, we went back and forth trying to coordinate our schedules together and FINALLY connected! I was going to be in Southern California shooting a wedding with a friend, so we made plans for a photo date together in San Juan Capistrano! I love when things like this work out!
We met up in Old Town San Juan Capistrano, and spent the afternoon roaming around the historic town and had a BLAST!
This gorgeous gal is a SENIOR, and a soon-to-be-graduate of the Class of 2015!
Following graduation, Kaylin hopes to attend Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, and plans to major in Nursing, and minor in Spanish. Ah-mazing!!!
Sweet bomb diggity, Kaylin, you are gorgeous!
Love the pops of red she added with her belt and necklace!
A few things I learned about Kaylin during our afternoon together…when this girl sets her mind to something, she is going to do it! She is bound and determined, and I love that!!! And…she has a HUGE heart for helping people, which I also love! Her desire and heart to help others is the big reason why she wants to pursue nursing as a career – so rad!
One of her greatest accomplishments this year, she says, is being accepted into the Palomar Health Internship program. Here, she volunteers her time and helps care for the sick while also having the opportunity to experience the many different sides to the healthcare field.
This girl has the best laugh + smile!
Love these two!
Love this sign she brought along!
Beautiful Kaylin!
I think I could have shot out here for days….it was absolutely gorgeous!
Love this!
Um…yes. Yes, she did rock this pic like nobody’s business! Gah!
Loved spending the afternoon with you Kaylin documenting your senior portraits, and am SO so so excited for you and all your senior year holds + all God has in store for your future too! You are going to make an amazing nurse, and I am pretty sure you have a pretty secure side job with modeling too! : ) Just sayin…
