A few days ago, I saw Lana Del Rey in concert and felt like I’d been transported back to the 60’s. Her voice, her stage presence, the vintage film filters, and the open air auditorium really made it feel like we had stepped back in time, and I loved it! At one point, I actually leaned over to my friend and asked her if she could picture me living in the ’60’s. Truly, if I could go back and live in a different era, I’d choose the ’60’s hands down. Give me some Johnny Cash, bouffant hair, oversized sunglasses, and I’m there! Oh, the fashion and the music from that time just gets me!
So the other week, when I met up with Erica at the Vista Ranch and Cellars to document her senior portraits, you can imagine my excitement when she showed me her floppy hat and boho kimono to wear for the shoot! Loved her style and especially loved how it just fit her personality too! We had so much fun roaming around the property and finding random spots to shoot at for this boho chic senior! Here are a few of my faves of beautiful Erica….

This gorgeous gal is a senior at Hilmar HIgh and is planning to pursue a career as a dental hygienist following graduation!!! Love this, especially because, she is following in her mama’s footsteps!
Erica’s family came along to the session with her, which I loved. Each played a supportive role (a.k.a makeup toucher-uper, wardrobe assistance, and hair fixer), but mostly I loved seeing just how much they loved being together. And how much they love Erica. So evident. And so neat.
Erica says she is most inspired by her family, her best friend, and her boyfriend. I think that is a pretty amazing combo!
Erica, you are gorg!
My absolute favorite!
Takin’ it back ’60’s style, oh yeah!
Um….love!
Another one of my favorites!
Erica, I can’t even begin to tell you HOW much I loved getting to spend the afternoon with you and your family!!! You are just a beautiful soul inside and out. The world is a better place having you in it! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, and blessings to you as you begin your next adventure in life!
Happy Friday! Hope you all enjoy the long weekend!
