Meet Colton, a soon-to-be-high school graduate!!! A few years back, I documented senior portraits for Colton’s sister Shelby, so I was super honored and excited to have the chance to document senior portraits for Colton too!
Colton is currently a senior at Chowchilla Union High School which is also my high school alma mater! This shoot was particularly fun for me because we did part of the session AT the school. So fun to see how much the school has grown and developed since my own school days there!
I loved getting to shoot on campus, and most especially, enjoyed my afternoon with this AMAZING senior. Here are a few from Colton’s senior session, starting with one of my absolute FAVORITES – enjoy!!!

Following graduation, Colton is planning to attend UC Merced and major in Computer Science and Engineering. His love for gaming and his vision of a this field in the future navigated his decision to major in this department – pretty amazing, dontcha think?!?
With all session, but especially with senior sessions, I love incorporating personal aspects into the shoot. With Colton, I love that we were able to infuse his love for baseball and gaming into the session. And….absolutely love the sun in these few photos too!
Ahhhhh!!!! Doesn’t this feel like a pic from way back when….I love it!
Just as the sun was setting, we headed to the school’s baseball field where Colton spends much of his time.
You can feel the baseball field is his place, a second home of sorts. It’s no surprise though. In fact, just behind him in the photo, the dugout reads “Welcome to the Randy and Ron Seals Home Dugoutl.” Ronnie being Colton’s dad. A love for baseball runs deep in this family – pretty neat!!
Colton has played baseball with some of his teammates since he was ten years old – how amazing is that?!?
I wanted to end with this photo because there is SO much on the horizon for Colton! I can’t wait to hear about the amazing video games you create, The great addition you will be to the UC Merced community, and all the amazing goodness God has in store for your future! Many congratulations on being YOU, an amazing senior and soon-to-be graduate!
