I’ve been MIA!!! It’s been a whirlwind of sorts these past few months and I am slooooooowly getting in the groove of a day-to-day routine here! There is so much I am anxious to share with you on the blog – sessions, things on my heart, life, and more!
To kick things off, I wanted to share a session I had with my soon-to-be-nephew-in-law!! Alex is ONE of the fifteen nieces and nephews I will be inheriting soon from my fiance’s side of the family! So much excitement to come!
Alex is currently a senior at Sunnyside Christian High and is looking into different colleges with Agriculture programs to attend in the fall. I like to think of Alex as the pioneer of the bunch, since he is the oldest; he is kind of the trail blazer for his cousins as he leads the way through his life.
Awhile back, while I was visiting in Washington, we met up to document his senior portraits. I loved getting to spend the afternoon with Alex, and was thoroughly impressed with him as he had scouted out different locations for us to use for his session!
Two of my faves from the session!
We stumbled across this old, rusty truck along the way and I couldn’t have been more excited! Made for a great backdrop! Another favorite of mine from the shoot!
Alex is a country boy through and through so it seems only fitting we do a few portraits incorporating some corn! : )
Alex plans to major in Agriculture with an emphasis in Business Management. He hopes to one day return to his family’s dairy farm operation in Washington, and be a part of the business! Pretty amazing, especially with Alex being the fourth generation of dairy farmers in his family!
Alex, I’m so excited for you and all God has in store for you in your future! Whatever school you choose, and whatever you do, you are going to be great! I am so excited to be a part of your family soon, and am honored I got to document this exciting time in your life!
Happy Wednesday!
