How do I even begin to describe this day in words? The beautiful venue, covered in royal blues and golden hues. The sweetest details woven in the ceremony and handmade on every table. The hundreds of people gathered together on this warm spring day, praying over these two and clapping as they kissed for the first time as husband and wife. It was, the perfect kind of day!
A most fitting type of day for Joey + Christina, a couple absolutely PERFECT for each other! They first met in high school and ended up connecting a few years later. Both knew, they said, there was something real and genuine between them. And that is so evident when you are around these two. They share such a pure, special kind of love. The kind that seems like they’ve known each other a lifetime already, and still can’t wait to wrap their arms around each other every chance they get, like you don’t want to let go…kind of love.
I can’t even tell you what an incredible honor it was to document this day! I shot Joey’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and I have just loved my time getting to work with this family! They have been so kind and welcoming to me! I am SO grateful to have been a part of this day for a couple so in love + perfect for each other!

I had several favorite moments throughout this day, but this was definitely one of my favorites as Christina got the final touches of her dress put together and saw herself as the beautiful bride she was!!! Seriously took my breath away!
Father + daughter first look – love this!
Ahhhhh! I loved this of Joey seeing his gorgeous bride for the first time! Those expressions are priceless!
Beautiful bride with her gorgeous sisters!
Loved all the personal details incorporated throughout their day, especially the sweet wooden rocking chair placed amongst all the white chairs at the ceremony to represent Christina’s sister, Tina, who passed away…such a beautiful way to remember a loved one!
Two pros right here! I shot Mike and Molly’s wedding back in 2013. So fun to be able to work with these two again as part of the wedding party!
Love those smiles after being pronounced husband and wife!
Love the burlap and lace details!
Announcing the new Mr. and Mrs. in town!
First dance as husband + wife…
After toasts + dinner, I snuck in a few more sunset photos with Joey + Christina and I”m so glad we did! The light was gorgeous!
Joey + Christina, thank you for inviting me as part of your amazing wedding day! Your love for each other is beautiful + I can’t wait for to see all the exciting things God has in store for you two!
