Ever since their engagement session in San Francisco, I had been looking forward to documenting their wedding. Especially since it was going to be my first time shooting at East Lake Ranch & Vineyards! It is always so exciting to shoot at new new locations and venues, and man oh man, this one was AMAZING!  
 
East Lake Ranch & Vineyards is SO gorgeous! As soon as you enter the property, you feel as if you’ve been transported to your own private oasis! Palm trees and gardens surround the expansive lake on the property, which features several bridge crossings and even its own dock extending out onto the water’s edge. Beyond the lake, bordering the walking trails, lies the vineyards, and what feels like a little slice of heaven! Oh, so SO beautiful!  
 
Needless to say, I loved my time shooting at this venue! From the gorgeous venue, to the pops of purple, to documenting the love shared between Joe and Melissa as they stood surrounded by their friends and family, this day was beautiful…

The stunning wedding dress – love!

Melissa was STUNNING in her dress with its layers of lace. Love this one of her soon-to-be-mother-in-law and twin sister helping her prepare for the day…

Before the ceremony started, I spent a little time with Melissa and her ladies looking gorgeous in purple!

And her beautiful mama. Probably one of my favorites from the day!

A few steps away, the guys were hanging out and getting ready for game time (a.k.a. ceremony time!). Joe gifted each of his groomsmen a custom shot glass for the day inscribed with each of their names!

The day began with overcast skies, but just as the ceremony started, the sun started to peak its way through the clouds…

Guests were welcomed to the wedding by a traditional mariachi band!

And this one too! He was SO happy to see his beautiful Melissa and couldn’t take his eyes off his bride!

Following the ceremony, guests made their way over the lake’s bridge to the reception area where they enjoyed cocktails and the beautiful setting overlooking the lake.

As guests settled at their tables for the reception, the party got started with the announcement of the wedding party!

After dinner, I snuck away for a few sunset pictures in the vineyards with the bride and groom. Seriously, Melissa, you made the most stunning bride!

My absolute favorite from the day! The light was sooooo dreamy!

Joe and Melissa, thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day! I am honored and feel blessed for the opportunity! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness as you begin this new chapter in life as husband and wife!
