I typically document senior portraits for high school graduates, so I was pumped when I received an email from Katelyn asking me if I could document her senior portraits from Cal Poly State University! Um, yes please!!! Now, I soooo wish I would have done this when I graduated from college!!! What an incredible accomplishment and momentous time in life to capture! 
 
And…it just so happened I was already planning to be in the San Luis Obispo area for an engagement session, so it was perfect!!! I met Katelyn in Montana de Oro State Park and spent the afternoon documenting this fabulous time in her life, surrounded amongst the rugged cliffs and sandy beaches of the Central Coast…

We met at Spooner’s Cove, a small slice of heaven tucked a few miles in the park. Oh California, you are so lovely.

Loved this area of yellow wildflowers, especially since Cal Poly’s colors are green and gold!!!

Following graduation, Katelyn is set to begin her teaching credential program at Cal Poly and hopes to begin a teaching career as an Ag educator.
