If I could choose the ideal lighting for a photo shoot, it would have been this day. It was…THE most gorgeous day in Carmel!! Well, let me clarify that statement because Carmel is alwaysgorgeous! The quaint coastal town is absolutely picturesque, but the weather there can often be a bit unpredictable. I was a bit nervous for this reason, but was SO thankful with the overcast skies and calm weather that rolled in, just in time for my senior session with Christian! 
 
I have known Christian and his family for years so I was thrilled to have the privilege of documenting his senior portraits…and in Carmel, no less!!! One of my most favorite places to visit! I met Christian and his mom at the Carmel Mission, where we roamed around the historic landmark, built nearly two centuries ago, and got a great start to an AMAZING afternoon of documenting senior portraits… 

In just a few days, Christian will be marching to the sounds of ‘Pomp and Circumstance” and receiving his diploma from Golden Valley High School! Woot woot!!!

Following graduation, Christian will be heading to Cal Poly, in beautiful San Luis Obispo, where he plans to major in Dairy Science.

After a bit, we headed to the beach, where the California sun shone ever so lovely through the overcast skies. The lighting was dreamy….

Christian is the oldest of four in his family, and definitely has that amazing natural leader trait. I know there are great things in store for his future!
