Every time I visit San Francisco, I fall more in love with this city! There is an amazing view from just about anywhere you might wander, and ALWAYS something new and exciting to discover around each corner. Still, no matter how many times I visit, the sight of the Golden Gate Bridge still stops me in my tracks. Its color is iconic to the city. And Its beauty and stature are undeniable stretching across the bay, it’s no wonder its one of most photographed bridges in the world!

A few weeks ago, San Francisco had a new red head in town that stole the spotlight. Meet Becca Brown. I was honored to spend the day with this GORGEOUS gal, exploring San Francisco, and documenting her senior portraits…
To begin the session, we headed to the Golden Gate Park. Love love the vibrant colors and scenery that we found!
This was an especially fun shoot for me because Becca is not only a senior, but also the sister to my roommate, Katie!
Katie came along to the shoot, and it wasn’t long before the ‘big sister’ in her came out. I know the feeling all too well, and it warmed my heart. I think as an older sister, you keep your baby sister at certain age in your mind…and then all the sudden you realize they AREN’T in eighth grade anymore, and they are all grown up and amazing.

Don’t worry roommate, you are in good company : )
Becca is currently a senior at Golden Sierra High School. Following graduation, she plans to attend Folsom Lake College where she plans to take classes and explore career options. Becca mentioned she is interested in photography (!!!) and wants to look into taking classes maybe. Sooooo exciting!!!!! Love this!
Blue-eyed and beautiful
Love the light streaming through the trees on this image….
Love this one with the pops of pink!
Becca, you are GORGEOUS!
After pictures in the park, we headed to Ocean Beach for some sunset pictures by the sea….
Becca is someone who wears her heart on her sleeve. She loves the people in her life, fully and deeply. Truly, her heart is as big as the ocean.

I think we need more Beccas in this world : )
It was pretty chilly on the beach, but Becca was such a sport! I had this cozy blanket in the back of my car which ended up being much needed AND a perfect addition to beach photos!
My favorite image from this shoot!!!
I wanted to end this post with this photo from our session, a sweet imagery as Becca nears the end of her senior year, and begins a new chapter of life in 2014!
So excited for all the new and exciting adventures that await you in 2014 and your future! You are going to be wonderful at ANY + EVERY thing you do. Thank you for such a fabulous shoot, and for the honor of documenting your senior portraits!
