Her friend insisted she meet him, vowing he would be a perfect match for her. Reluctantly, Lauren went along to the dinner her friend arranged so she could meet Cory. They mostly shied away from one another, however, and didn’t chat much throughout the evening. But as Lauren made her way to leave, Cory asked for her number and the two met the next night. This time, it was just the two of them.

As they shared pieces of their lives with each other, there was something. Something different. Something familiar. A relationship blossomed over their shared loved of country music, horticulture, a preferred quiet night cuddled on the couch to going out, and taking long drives through the open roads of the country. Two years of dating later, their togetherness began to feel like home, and like their first meeting, Cory didn’t want Lauren to leave.

A few months later, Lauren returned home from work to find Cory working out in her garden and something shiny strategically placed atop one of her beloved sunflowers. A ring and a proposal were asked, and a yes and a beautiful wedding were had. Cory and Lauren were married at the beautiful Santa Margarita Ranch in San Luis Obispo, surrounded by their friends and family, and sunflowers. Beautiful sunflowers…

Loveloveloved the flowers, created and designed by the talented April of April Flowers.
