They met at a birthday party of a mutual friend. Not knowing each other, they were randomly paired together for a cornhole game, and enjoyed friendly conversation, learning they shared many of the same friends. Kelsey joked she called “dibs” on Case when a friend mentioned he was cute, but it was clear by the end of the night, there was no need. Together, they spent the evening dancing and laughing, and before parting ways, exchanged numbers.
The next day, Case asked Kelsey on a date and the rest, they say, is history.
They’re planning to marry this September in their hometown of Merced, California and I couldn’t be more excited to document their first day as husband and wife!

It was absolutely the sweetest thing to see how smitten Case is with his bride-to-be…
While on a trip to Santa Barbara, Case asked Kelsey to marry him and she happily said yes to the man that stole her heart…
Case and Kelsey, you are perfect for eachother. Truly…
The JOY these two have for each other is palpable!
Oh Kelsey, you are gorgeous!

After a quick outfit change, we headed down the path for some more portraits!
These two are real sweet together…
I just adored seeing how Case could make Kelsey laugh and smile with just a look…
They both said they knew after meeting this was the one for them…
One of my favorites!
How gorgeous is her ring?!?
Their love and devotion for each other is so evident…
Knights Ferry was in full bloom and it made for THE prettiest setting for these two!
The weather and light couldn’t have been more perfect for the session!
I’ll end with this one because a love like theirs needs a backdrop just as beautiful…
